1. Overview

The JobDrive App is an AI-powered recruitment solution that automates key stages of the hiring process β€” from resume shortlisting to adaptive AI interviews. The demo is showcasing a full end-to-end workflow, focusing on how HR teams can efficiently manage recruitment drives, upload resumes in bulk, and leverage AI insights for faster and smarter decision-making. The documentation is structured to simulate a real hiring scenario, highlighting both HR (admin) and candidate journeys while testing features such as AI resume parsing, adaptive interviews, and real-time rating generation.

2. Step-by-Step: HR Demo Flow

  1. Create an Account / Login β€” During the demo, HR participants accessed the system through invite-only credentials to ensure controlled access.
  2. Create Job Profile β€” The HR uploaded or pasted a job description (supported formats: DOC, PDF). The system used AI-based text extraction to auto-generate the Job Profile content.
  3. Create Drive β€” From the Job Profile, HR created a Drive (for example, β€œCustomer Support Drive”), which served as a container for candidate resumes, shortlisting, and interviews. Drives could be configured with an expiry date for interview submissions (default: 14 days).
  4. Upload Resumes β€” Multiple resumes were uploaded in bulk. JobDrive automatically parsed candidate details such as name, contact info, experience, and skills.
  5. AI Shortlisting β€” The app analyzed each resume and assigned an AI Rating (Poor / Average / Good / Excellent) based on relevance to the job profile, experience, and skill alignment.
  6. Invite to Interview β€” HR selected candidates and sent invitations for either voice or text-based interviews. Bulk invitations were also supported, and candidates received personalized email links.
  7. Candidate Interview β€” Candidates accessed their interview links and responded to AI-generated questions. Each question was time-bound (e.g., 2 minutes). The AI adjusted follow-up questions dynamically based on the resume and previous answers.
  8. Review Results β€” HR viewed interview summaries in the dashboard, including AI-generated ratings, feedback summaries, and full Q&A responses. Voice recordings were also available for review.
  9. Export / Archive β€” Data could be exported as CSV files for reporting. A PDF export option for candidate Q&A and interview evidence was discussed as a future enhancement.

3. Demo Observations & Notes

  • AI-generated questions were contextually relevant and adjusted dynamically to candidate experience levels.
  • The per-question timer (2 minutes) worked smoothly and ensured focused candidate responses.
  • Candidate UI was fully mobile-responsive and performed well on both desktop and smartphone devices.
  • Bulk resume upload and parsing accuracy were consistent with expectations.
  • The team discussed improvements such as better microcopy in the interface and the inclusion of a PDF export feature for HR records.
