Job Drives
How to create a Job Drive for a role, what the Hiring Deadline changes when it expires, and what deleting one permanently removes.
What a Job Drive is
A Job Drive is a hiring campaign for one specific open role. It is the central workspace in Jobdrive where everything related to a particular position lives: uploaded resumes, AI ratings, interview invites sent, and completed interview reports.
Every time you need to hire for a role, you create a Job Drive for it. If you are hiring for three different roles at the same time, you create three separate Job Drives, one for each position.
Once created, a Job Drive holds all uploaded resumes for that role (with AI-generated ratings of Excellent, Good, Average, or Poor), all interview invites sent, completed interview reports with AI Feedback and Q&A transcripts, and the Hiring Deadline setting.
Key things to keep in mind: you need a Job Description saved before creating a Job Drive, and a Job Drive cannot be edited after creation. If you need to change its details, delete the drive and create a new one.
Creating one
Before creating a Job Drive, ensure you have at least one Job Description saved, sufficient AI Evaluation Credits (1 credit per resume uploaded), and your PDF resumes ready (or use sample resumes to test).
- Go to Job Drives: Click Job Drives in the left sidebar to open the Job Drives list page.
- Click + Job Drive: Click the + Job Drive button in the top right corner to open the Create New Job Drive modal.
- Select a Job Description: Choose a saved Job Description from the dropdown, search by title, or click Add Job Description at the bottom of the list to create a new one on the spot.
- Enter a Job Drive Name: Type a clear name for this hiring round (e.g. Content Writer – Part Time – Jan 2026 or Head HR – Q2 2026 Hiring Drive).
- Set a Hiring Deadline: Enter a future expiry date in dd-mm-yyyy format. After this date, the drive will close to new submissions and invites.
- Upload Resumes: Upload up to 50 PDF resumes at a time, or click Use Sample Resumes to test the platform.
- Save: Click Save to create the drive immediately and start AI analysis.
The Job Drives list
Click Job Drives in the left sidebar to view all active and expired hiring campaigns in a central table:
| Column | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Job Drive | The campaign name. Expired drives display a red Expired badge below the name. |
| Job Title | The role title from the linked Job Description. |
| Job Description | Preview of the JD text. Click Read More to view the full text. |
| Interviews | Button displaying the number of interviews; opens the Interviews tab. |
| Resumes | Button displaying the number of resumes; opens the Resumes tab. |
| Actions | Red delete icon to permanently remove the drive and its data. |
Use the top search bar to filter the list by drive name in real time.
Hiring Deadline, Active and Expired
Every Job Drive exists in one of two states based on its Hiring Deadline:
- Active: The Hiring Deadline date has not passed. You can upload resumes, send interview invites, and use all drive features.
- Expired: The Hiring Deadline date has passed. A red Expired badge appears in the list and an expiry banner displays at the top of the drive page.
Expired drives are never automatically deleted. All candidate data and interview history remain preserved so you can review past applicants when hiring again for the same role.
What changes when a drive expires
When a Job Drive reaches its Hiring Deadline, specific rules take effect:
What is blocked after a drive expires:
- You cannot upload new resumes.
- You cannot send new interview invites via email, WhatsApp, or copied link.
- You cannot re-invite candidates to complete an interview.
What remains accessible after a drive expires:
- You can view all uploaded resumes, candidate summaries, and AI ratings.
- You can filter and search candidates by name or AI rating.
- You can open any candidate full Interview Report.
- You can download Interview Reports as PDF files.
- You can delete the drive if you no longer need its data.
Deleting a drive
You can delete a Job Drive from the Job Drives list page when a role is closed or to clean up test drives:
- Go to Job Drives in the left sidebar.
- Find the drive and click the red trash icon in the Actions column.
- A popup will request confirmation to delete the drive and all associated data.
- Click OK to permanently delete the drive, or Cancel to abort.
What gets permanently deleted: All uploaded resumes, candidate experience summaries, AI ratings, sent interview invites, and completed Interview Reports (including AI Feedback and Q&A transcripts). This action cannot be undone.
What is not affected: The linked Job Description remains saved in your Job Descriptions list for future campaigns. Other Job Drives and credit balances are unaffected (used credits are not refunded).
